I just heard a song by the Editors, "Camera", from their album The Back Room.
When the song started, I thought it was something new by Interpol. It wasn't until I checked KEXP's playlist that I saw otherwise.
Seriously,
parkbenchzine, I don't see how you can dislike Interpol so much and think the Editors are great. I do like what I've heard by the Editors, and I just missed their show last week, which is too bad.
And I still don't understand why you dislike Sons & Daughters.
Just to add something of possible interest to others, here are a couple other bands I've written down recently in my list of music to buy. Both of the bands have a "shoegazer", dreampop sound. One is Film School, whose song "11:11" sounds something like the Cure; their album is self-titled. The other is the High Violets, with an album called To Where You Are. I don't have a specific song written down for them, but I have the note they sound like Lush.
